Last updated: April 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Pocket-Tracker uses cookies and similar technologies in accordance with the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), the GDPR, and French law (Article 82 of the Loi Informatique et Libertés, as guided by CNIL recommendations).
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device and maintain information across sessions.
2. Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They do not require your consent under EU law.

Analytics Cookies
Google Analytics (GA4) sets cookies to help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Service. Pocket-Tracker displays no advertising and sets no advertising cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser (see Section 6).

For more on how Google uses cookies, see Google's Cookie Policy.
3. Advertising & Analytics Opt-Out
Pocket-Tracker does not display any advertising and works with no advertising partners — we set no advertising cookies of any kind. You can refuse or delete the non-essential (analytics) cookies at any time through your browser settings (see Section 6) or via Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The Service works fully without them.
4. Third-Party Cookies
If you use Google Sign-In, Google may set cookies on your device as part of the authentication process. These cookies are governed by Google's Cookie Policy.
5. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, the Service uses browser localStorage to store user preferences (such as theme, language, and tour completion status). This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers unless explicitly synced as part of the Service features.
6. Managing Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling the session cookie will prevent you from using the Service while logged in.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new cookies or change how we use existing ones. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
